Susan J. Klein has had two works chosen for the U.S. State Department's Art in Embassies program.

The first is Clay Gully Creek, which was exhibited in the American Embassy in Rome from 2002 through 2004.

The second is Resurrection Fern. This painting, on loan from Mr. and Mrs. Scott Koverman, was displayed in the American Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 2008 until 2010.
